Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Leave Nairobi at 07.30am for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia.

You will arrive in time for lunch/check in. In the late afternoon you will proceed on an afternoon game in the conservancy viewing the Chimpanzees, rhinos, giraffes and many more wild game, return to camp dinner/overnight.

Day 2: Ol Pajeta- Samburu National Reserves

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Northern Frontier Great National Reserves of Kenya to Samburu National Reserve where you will have the opportunity of exploring some of Kenya’s very unique wildlife and bird life as well as landscape, arrive at your lodge/ check in and lunch relax before proceeding for your first game viewing drive.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve with lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon.

The reserve is home to rare drought resistant animals that are peculiar to the semi-arid region north of the Equator.

These include the reticulated giraffe, gravy’s Zebra, the Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk and the Blue shanked Somali Ostrich. Samburu is dry most of the year but is watered by the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Which rises in the Aberdare’s and drains in the Lorian Swamp north of Shaba National Reserve.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
Leave after breakfast with game drive en-route.

Drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the great Rift valley where Lake Nakuru is located with a stopover at Thomson falls lodge for refreshment, lunch and panoramic views of the falls.

Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park with game drive exploring the extra ordinary bird life for which Lake Nakuru is internationally renowned.

Check in lodge/camp for dinner and overnight

Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino.

The park features the picturesque Malaika Waterfalls. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes.

Among predators are lion, leopard and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees.

Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat.

Day 5 : Lake Nakuru National Park to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast depart Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara National reserve with a stopover at Narok town for refreshment and shopping, thereafter proceed to Maasai Mara for lunch/ check in a lodge/camp.

Game drive to follow in late afternoon and later return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives will lead you to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas.

You still have the option of Hot Air Balloon Safari (extra cost) early morning before proceeding for your normal game drive.

A visit to a Maasai cultural village is also an option in the afternoon. (Extra cost).

Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Day 7 : Maasai Mara National Reserve to Mombasa

After your breakfast depart Maasai Mara and proceed to Nairobi with packed lunch on the way to arrive late afternoon, proceed to carnivore restaurant for dinner and thereafter be transferred to the SGR Train station where you will board your Train to Mombasa, upon arrival you will be met by our team and be transferred to a beach hotel.

Day 8: Mombasa

This will be a day at leisure accompanied with relaxation on the beach and engage in hotel sports activities like beach volley ball, tennis, swimming, archery and many others.

Day 9: Mombasa
This is a day with options of either go for dhow trip and snorkeling at South Coast (extra cost) or half day tour in Mombasa(extra cost) or relax in the hotel.

Day 10: Mombasa to Nairobi

Early breakfast and depart the hotel to catch up a train at 08.00 am to Nairobi with lots of good scenery on the way.

Arrive Nairobi at 08.00 pm, with an option of visiting Carnivore restaurant for late lunch and later be dropped to the airport or be dropped to the airport and wait for your departure time.
